Byron Bay Chapter Workshop Series – Holotropic Breathwork Introductory Workshop

With Janine Taranto and Martha Calhoun

Date: Sat 27 May 2023 @ 10:00am
Location: Byron Community Centre

MMA’s Byron Bay Chapter is thrilled to invite you to a Holotropic Breathwork Introductory Workshop

Stan Grof pioneered the exploration of altered states of consciousness for healing. Following the prohibition of LSD and other psychedelic substances, he developed a unique breathing technique that induces similar altered states of consciousness called holotropic breathing. The breath has successfully been used as a tool for activating inner healing for millennia (with pranayama being practiced in India since the 5th & 6th centuries).

Janine and Martha have been facilitating breathwork for over 20 years. In this workshop, they share their extensive knowledge on Holotropic Breathing, the inner healing mechanism and the map of the psyche. Please note that this is an information session on holotropic breathing, not an experiential workshop.

When: Saturday 27th May, 10am-12pm

Where: Byron Community Centre
Cost: $20 / $15 concession.

Capacity is strictly limited so reserve your spot today!
