The Commonwealth Government's Therapeutic Goods Administration allows treatment-resistant PTSD and treatment-resistant depression patients to receive MDMA assisted psychotherapy for the treatment of PTSD and psilocybin assisted psychotherapy for the treatment of depression. However the interplay of ACT and federal legislation means this cannot occur legally in the ACT. Our briefing note explains the benefits.
