Melbourne Community Event: Yoga, Voice, Kirtan and Mantra Workshop with Nina Hakamies and Tania de Jong AM

With Nina Hakamies and Tania de Jong AM

Date: Thu 15 May 2025 @ 7:00pm
Location: Level 4, 479 St Kilda Road Melbourne VIC 3004

Our Melbourne event series is an opportunity to come together to connect and create space for your mental health and well-being.

Our May event will be facilitated by Nina Hakamies and Tania de Jong AM.

Topic: Yoga, Voice, Kirtan and Mantra Workshop

Our community Yoga, Kirtan, Voice and Mantra experience is designed to guide you on a transformative journey, where movement and voice unite to elevate vibrations and awaken collective healing energy.

Together we’ll move through a guided practice of Yoga movement led by Nina, flowing into Voicework with Tania and finishing with Kirtan, an ancient form of Yoga, called Bhakti Yoga.

Nina and Tania will then lead us through Kirtan, with an immersive sound and chanting practice as we repeat Sanskrit mantras over and over, as part of a unique and blissful meditative experience. These chants have been sung for millennia by Sages, Devotees and Yogis from all around the world. This session offers a beautiful chance to strip back all that is unnecessary so that we can deepen and dissolve into the bliss of sound and vibration.

Conversation and light refreshments will follow the main session.

All are welcome! Limited places are available.
