With Dr Ronald D. Siegel (USA)
Date: Wed 07 September 2022 @ 1:00pm
Location: Online
Over the past 15 years mindfulness and compassion practices have become part of mainstream psychotherapy, while more recently research on psychedelic-assisted psychotherapy has mushroomed, offering not only possible breakthrough treatments for PTSD, depression, addictions, and end-of-life anxiety, but providing new insights into the nature of psychological distress and mechanisms of healing.
How can these developments inform our clinical practice if we’re not participating in the research? In this presentation, we’ll explore the common healing factors in non-ordinary states as well as practical applications of these in all forms of therapy.
Topic: Learning from Non-Ordinary States: Mindfulness, Compassion, & Psychedelics
