Volunteers, Interns and Student Placements
Volunteer with a forward thinking charity and make an impact in the mental health sector!
Volunteers are central to the success of our organisation. As a not-for-profit organisation, we survive and thrive from the in-kind donations from our community. Although financial contributions are extremely valuable to us, our volunteers contribute from their skills and talents.
MMA has been assisted by a long list of volunteers from diverse backgrounds. From supporting the delivery of our enormous applications to the TGA to reschedule psilocybin and MDMA, to providing expert insights and skillsets to create remarkable digital assets and strategies, to producing internationally commended policy research reports, to collating and transforming research into accessible-language blogs, assistance with partnerships, marketing, PR and social media and the incredible help with the day to day running of our office. It is clear that we wouldn’t be where we are today without the extraordinary contributions of our volunteers and we are continuously grateful and honoured to have their support.
Many of our volunteers have also gone on to become paid employees of MMA.
