There is no set amount, and no obligation — please be generous.
Most gifts in Wills take one of the following forms:

A share, or all, of what remains in your estate once your loved ones have been provided for and other specific gifts have been distributed.

A particular sum of money, or a named asset such as shares or property, left to MMA.

A set percentage of your estate, which keeps your gift proportionate, however your circumstances change over time.
Suggested Will wording
This wording is a starting point only. Please have your solicitor prepare or review the final clause, as the right form depends on your personal circumstances and jurisdiction.
"I give [the sum of $______ / ______% of the residue of my estate / my [describe asset]] to Mind Medicine Australia Ltd (ABN available on request) for its general charitable purposes, and I declare that the receipt of its authorised officer shall be a complete and sufficient discharge to my executor."
The Eternity Circle
Donors who let us know they've included MMA in their Will become part of the Eternity Circle — our way of saying thank you, while you're still here to hear it. Letting us know is entirely optional, and never binding.
No obligation
A gift in your Will can be changed or removed at any time, and never affects your current giving.
Complete privacy
Many members of the Eternity Circle prefer to remain anonymous. We follow your preference exactly.
A standing thank you
Where you're comfortable being named, we recognise Eternity Circle members at our events and in our biennial review.
Before you speak with your solicitor
Will my family still be provided for?
Yes — almost every gift we receive is a residuary gift, left after family and loved ones have already been provided for. Providing for the people close to you always comes first.
Is there a minimum gift amount?
No. Gifts of every size make a genuine difference, whether that's a specific sum, a percentage of your estate, or whatever remains once other gifts are honoured.
Do I need a solicitor to update my Will?
We'd always recommend it, so the wording reflects your specific wishes and estate. If you don't already have one, we're happy to suggest what to ask for in a confidential conversation.
Can I change my mind later?
Yes, at any time and for any reason. A gift in your Will is a statement of your current wishes, not a locked-in commitment.
Do I have to tell MMA about my gift?
No, though it helps us plan for the future if you do. Telling us also means we can make sure your gift is directed exactly where you'd like it to go.
